Alam Kooh – South Damavand

Takhte Soleiman area (Alam Kooh) is located in the north part of IRAN . This field contain tens climaxes with the altitude more than 4000m. Alam Kooh is in the vicinity of Caspian Sea and because of this we can see heavy snow falls in this field in the winter .
In spite of glaciers, rocky and icy walls, the special climate of field have created forest skirts and beautiful grass – lands. Roodbarak village with 1500m altitude is the most important entrance gate to this field.

The distance of Roodbarak from Tehran is 200km. In additional to pleasure of skiing on virgin skirts of Alam Kooh , favorable climate in this part of program can be cause for acclimatization to climbing on Damavand . For climbing on high mountains not only the powerful body and favorable climate are essential but passing some periods is needed .
Damavand, the biggest volcano cone in IRAN with 5671m altitude is recognized in Iranian culture. Because of difficult condition of climate few people are living in the villages that are located around Damavand .
Rineh village with 2100m altitude is the starting point for climbing on south Damavand . This normal and non-technical course is accessible and one of the best field to ski. An extra day is intended in program for bad climate so climbing on Damavand climax can be possible .

•  Pass a night at the shore of Caspian sea by previous request
